It finally warmed up and dried out enough to start a project with the ford 3000 I bought last fall.
I have had a drainage problem on one side of the shop and needed to fill in an ATV mud pit I dug for my son 6 years ago, so I started digging dirt to get the water to go around the shop instead of through it. I have lost track of how many loads I have hauled. Just a rough guess would be around 40 yards.
I haul it with a power dump trailer I built last summer. 5X7 with 18" sides, roughly 2 yd box. It dumps with a trailer tongue jack. Each load gets a little easier and quicker as I pick up a few tricks along the way.
The mud pit is full, now I need to fix the ruts in the yard I made by doing that.
