I need a few parts for transmission this is a 1989 serial 65827 . New here but just tore it down got tractor about 2 weeks ago was stuck in first gear. I need the shifting fork s for sure maybe whole trans for parts. I also see the plate held on the front of transmission is snap ring held is bad it has the pins that stick out. Any help would be great junk yards etc.

Thank You Dan Bailey

Welcome to GTT.  Someone may be along to help with the parts. Check out our Manuals Section for 3 free downloads per day. Good Luck, Rick

Hi,

I assume by the '89 model year, you have a 4 sp.

For new parts, you can contact: Mission Mfg in Princeton, In as they have a good selection of new parts for these tractors.

Otherwise, ebay.

The "plastic" pk's did not sell very well and are not plentiful.

Good luck.

Chuck

There is another posting on here in the Power King section with drawings, photos and ideas, might wanna check it out! Usually the clutch that goes bad on these, or comnination of both, might wanna make sure trans didn't have bad bearing and front seal and leak into the clutch.

the trans on a 1200 series, the smaller version is almost the same, but rear case is diff, as it goes on a diff rear-end. Most of internals are same, cept maybe the output shaft? Not sure on the shaft.  Think maybe the shift lever is diff length or bent diff also. Might check on that.  What problems you having with trans?  I used to have a few in parts, but have since sold them as am getting out of the hobby and was done with my Plastic Kings.  Watch epay and go to swap meets.
