In my research I have found that the 2000 Eliminator (5000 series), GT2000 (5100 series) and DGT1700 (5100 series) appear to all share similar parts. I think they all have the 2 speed rear end. I was wondering how close the Eliminator 2000, GT2000 would be as far as parts tractors for a DGT1700.

It looks like they all have the cast iron front end. The DGT1700 and the GT2000 seem to have the same hood while the 2000 Eliminator has the Eliminator style hood but other than that the bodies and parts seem very similar. Thank you for any thoughts on this.

All of the Duratracs: GT1800 (5118H), GT2000 (5120H) and DGT1700 (5117H) are nearly identical (same frame, body etc.) with the exception of the diesel engine and the hardware to accommodate it. Also the same are the Troybilt GTX 16,18 and 20 tractors.

The earlier 5000 series 5017H, 5018H, 5019H and 5020H also share some parts with the later Duratrac series tractors - same hydro rear ends, same front axles. Compare the parts manuals from both series, you'll find many parts the same and others not so much.
