Nice job at saving it. I would have it ceramic coated and it would be like a new muffler again.

Hi accidentalchild.  I just stumbled across this thread.  First of all - what a gorgeous 1476 you picked up (amongst your other finds).  It looks to me like your 1476 has a dealer sticker from WITHAM GARDEN CENTER on the fender.  It caught my eye as the HT23 I picked up recently in Oregon City had the same dealer stickers (so many stickers on mine - one on the fender, one on the dash tower, one on the hood between the eyes). I've debated whether or not to leave them.  They are part of the tractor's history - but so many stickers!

After reading this thread it sounds like you entered the hobby about a year before me.  Nice to know who I'm up against when I have to compete for something Bolens on CL in the PDX area.   :shoot2:

I saw too that you picked up an Earthcavator.  I just got to looking at them - are they infact a small boxblade?  Those of you that have one - what do you use it for?  I have been thinking I need to pick up a boxblade to do some field leveling and gravel road maintenance - but it's hard to find a Cat 0 boxblade.  Does the earthcavator do a lot of the same things?

Thanks!
