I just lost some weight. Got everything unstuck and now want to do some maintenance. Also going to fix that parking pawl leak and try out my tiller and chipper shredder for the first time.

Looks like my tractor has the obsolete adjustable jet and a fuel pump. Anyone know if I use the Q45 or Q44 rebuild kit?

Either or will work, not having the LQ45 here I cant say for sure but the difference may be the needle's design.

 

Have the LQ44 instock if you need them.

Anyone have any idea what this graphite looking stuff is and why its coming out of this hole? If it is graphite please just make something up.

Its a mix of gas, crud and oil from the breather tube

Nice looking tractor.  I'm not fond of the stripes though.
 
Those are not from the factory. They are coming off! Missed a few though.
 
Bolens did have a set of decals that you could use for the1976 tractors:

well that makes sense as all these parts seem to be leaking.

The stripe removal is taking the paint off too. Tried goof off, warm soap and water. Tsp. Fingernails. Next heat gun.
