UPS just dropped a box off to my house. This shirt was being talked about on facebook in the David bradley page. Jeff Lauber knows about the shirt. Here is a picture.

Yes it is a David Bradley GT. DB and Craftsman are both Sears owned. Or at least they were.

well its along story but basically Craftsman has been a Sears trade mark for decades, even before the GT's were around. For a long time it was mostly just for tools and machines, and later on they included it on about everything in the catalog, but clothing. The use of David Bradley on a GT didn't start until either right before orr right after WWII. The Handiman tractors were called Bradley Handiman first, the name Sears was never put on one that I know of. The riders started as David Bradley, until 1962 when the Sears names appeared on the hoods, even though the engine decals still said DB. The last tractor I have with a DB on it was 1964. There was also at the same time a whole line of mowing machines that used the craftsman name, which including reel, push, the some small 3 and 4 wheeled butt buggy riders. A lot of this stuff was built by Newark Ohio, an other company partly owned or wholey owned by Sears at the time.

Thank you Jeff for clarifying the DB, Craftsman and Sears info. Your wealth of knowledge on DB and Sears tractors is invaluable.

I did not know any of that info myself.
