I have a 5 foot Hydrolic mower deck that I am want to set up with Quick connects on my frankin tractor..but I cant figure out what the 3rd line going to the hydro motor is for...

The mounts on the FIL on the Frankin tractor line up perfect with the mounts on this deck

I got the manuals uploaded. I found a parts & maintenance manual for a Turfcat T628D that should be close enough to answer your question. On page 86, the center hose is part # 16. This goes back and attaches to another hose. If a two wheel drive, page 79, part # 2. 4-Wheel drive, page 80, part # 22. It is a return line.

I also uploaded an Operators Manual for the T428D.

I understand a feed line..and a return line..but the 3rd line has me lost unless the motor reverses and it doesn't on this machine from what I remember.

I'm wondering if it's some kind of case drain for any fluid that leaks past the rotor or whatever type of drive that motor has. The hose is smaller than the drive hoses so it's not designed to handle the full fluid flow.
