I bought a LGT 165 a couple of years ago & last summer sold it to my Grandson & he needed to unload it so I bought it back & listed it on GL in 3 days a man called & drove 100 miles & when he got here it was raining but I had it in my trailer so we could stay dry while we talked he rode it around in the rain & said I'll take it, paid me & loaded in his trailer ask where to eat lunch & left

Looks like he got a fine tractor. Those are getting really hard to find here. A few years ago you would regularly see them coming up for sale but now they seem to be rare. Those who have them are holding on to them I guess!

I have 3 Fords left a 600,  a LGT 165 open side and a 100 , the closed side one came to late I have messed up my shoulder and not repainting anything right now.

Glad to see you were able to get it moved so quickly. Good looking closed side.

I have two and am always looking for more of the fords, kind of funny because I'm a Chevy guy. I found one sitting in a side yard and stopped numerous times to try and buy it but couldn't catch anyone home. I think the junk monkeys ended up getting it.

I'm making a 4-hour drive (each way) to get mine.

I may be crazy, but I'm getting a closed cab, a snowblower, and a blade with it, too.

Doubtless I'll have many questions...

Personally, I would have to be dead to be on a green one! If I had a choice between horses or a Deere, I will take the horses!! That's how much I despise them... My favorite Fords are the open sided units hands down! The closed sides are a little more user friendly and my diesel is one, and he's a nice machine no matter how you use him he gets it done!! My 125 is on competition pulling duty right now, but will be done soon enough then I can have both my rigs home!! I need that second machine now with the huge garden to haul the trailer!

Having just yesterday been forced to rip the trans out of a 165, I can testify to the strength of the driveline.  They are definitely heavy duty.

I tend to prefer blue, but i'll accept orange or white. Green is not an option.

I drove 2 hours each way to buy a trans.
