I know there is a what fits what in here but it is more than a little difficult for me to understand. Could someone one please give me a model number for a 2 stage snow blower that would fit a 332 JD diesel. I have had this tractor with a mower deck for almost 20 years and all it does is mower a little grass each year. It has around 600 hours on it thus far. I had it a long before I got involved with the Bolens tractors and that I usually the forum that I hang out at. Thanking anyone in advance.

You're looking for a Model 47 snowblower. There are two different styles, however. The older style is a four bar linkage setup bolts onto the blower. The newer style is a quick hitch. If using the newer style hitch, you can get virtually any 47 snowblower from the 90's up to the one that came off the assembly line on Friday.

Pics of both styles, oldest first.

The 332 is a nice tractor. It will move a lot of snow with one of those 2 stage blowers on it. The quick hitch would also allow you to use a blade on the front if that is something you are interested in. Those blowers can be pretty pricey.

And would be very fuel efficient compared to say my 445 gas.I had a 55 gal drum for snow removal this winter and I only have 5 gal left.

OP,You will need a lot of rear weight to use one of those blowers especially if you are using it on hills.

Wow, I really appreciate the quick response. Now are any of those blower made by RAD technologies or are they strictly JD. I do like that later of the blower I like that QA, but I would probably never have a blade on it.

I was helping my brother with his late model 47 today.
I expect it's John Deere "international sourced".
The gearbox for the auger said "made in Spain" on it.

There are aftermarket blowers for the 318/332. I'll see if I can find that info.

The newest blowers use a plastic composite fan instead of metal. You can make your assumptions on how I feel about that.

Bercomac makes a good blower and may actually be the contractor for a lot of the blowers out there for GT's.

I have a bercomac on my jd 322. I was looking for a 47 blower but gound my bercomac used dirt cheap. The bercomac actually throws snow further than the 47 but i think the 47 is made with thicker steel.

Do you happen to know the model # of the blower and subframe of that?
