I believe that blower is for a newer Simplicity. I don't have one for mine but I know the hitch is different. I thought I had a picture somewhere but can't find it now. Tallentedmrgreen will have the information you need for sure. I'm not sure that the blower can't be used but you might have to have the mule drive for the original blower. I'll see if I can find the correct pic for the mule drive.

Roger.

Here are some pictures Josh sent me on the mule drive for the Homelite snowthrower. As you can see the belt runs off the fron PTO down thru the mule drive to the blower.  Hope this helps.

Roger.

Yes. There should be an electric PTO attached to the front of the motor. I don't have a picture of one but I believe Josh (talentedmrgreen) has some. Mine is currently not working. I believe it is a wiring problem. that PTO runs your mower deck also.                                                                              Roger.

I found one on ebay listed by one of our site sponsors, Joesoutdoorpower. You can contact him via email, PM, or phone. He is great to work with and is fair and honest.

That is nice blower, BUT, maybe you should find one to fit YOUR brand of tractor and bolt up!  Might not be so nice to hack this one up and if didn't work, wouldn't be good for the Proper tractor then either. Just my opinion.

Pics of the Homelite blower I used to have:

Warning! Mine was an AC built machine, not the Simplicity like yours.

The Simplicity blower for the the same frame will fit your Homelite. Also an Allis Chalmers for the the same frame size will fit. You just have to make sure it has the hitch and mule drive. I missed one here locally last year. I didn't know about tit until it was on it's way to scrap. I called the salvage yard and they would not sell it to me. Told me once it's in their fence it cannot be resold for use. It was a Simplicity with all the parts. There was an Allis blower in Saginaw last year on CL. You just have to keep an eye out for it. Also you might join the Simplicity / Allis Chalmers Garden Tractor group on Face Book.   I'm not really in the market for one, if I see one I will let you know.                                                                                                                                                                           Roger

Maybe add it to the FB site if allowed. That one looks in good shape. Might want to list it on CL also. Good luck.                                                    Roger

Bill, I just got some info for you. First, the one you bought is for the 5200/6200 Simplicity's (800  AC) vertical shaft from the mid to late 80's. What you can use is a  7000/700, 7100/900 or the 3400 series.
