We are finally getting the first "real" snow of the winter!. We got about a inch yesterday and we are going to get another 4 inches today/tomorrow. I finally get to try out the blade on the front of the Bolens HT-23, I have never pushed snow with a blade, only with loaders/buckets.

Weights and chains?
Just remember to push it back far enough to handle the next snow.
And the one after that
And the one the weatherman mis-forecasted north of you
And the one the weatherman mis-forecasted south of you
And the one that came in the nite that no one forecasted.

Oh, I'm sorry... I guess I'm looking forward to spring. :D

Have a great time on the seat, and get some pics if you can.

I wish the town goof-balls had this train of thought. :wallbanging:

They make 1 trip each way on a 40' street with a 8' plow.

BUT, the block in front of my house and a block East and a block West are clear from curb to curb! :D

So far we've only gotten 3 inches, but I did go out to play a little!.

I don't have chains on it, but I do have weights, I didn't have any trouble with traction with the R4 tires and it seemed to push great!

After I bladed the 2 driveways, a path from the house to the barn, then back around to the other side of the house, I then ran out of things to blade :(. SO since the road grader hasn't cleared the roads yet (not really enough snow to clear) I went ahead and bladed the 1/4 mile stretch of road from the house down to the corner

(last picture is me at the corner heading back to the house)

I don't half to worry about pushing the snow back, we have a 90% chance of snow again tonight, then it's going to be in the 50's on Monday and then 60's later in the week. This is the end of the snow probably till next winter.
