I collect old American Flyer Trains and found a B&O engine I wanted real bad it was listed for $295.00+$19.95 shipping and it was on there a long time, I sent the seller a message telling him I would pay $250.00 inc shipping and I just sent him the money. I think I did pretty good.

Is it the 350 Royal Blue? Sorry, big American Flyer collector here too, so I have most the numbers of the Flyer trains in my collection memorized.

Nice, I have been wanting those too. Well, not thse, but ones that look like those. :D

My collection has mostly Gilbert made American Flyer, not much for the Lionel built Flyer, but do like those B&O diesels.

most of mine are Gilbert made also they are better built the 40's early 50's. I have collected them for years with no regard to RR names and a friend got me started on RR's Gilbert did not make this combo, and I have 10 B&O cars to pull with it

Yup. Dad and I collected too with no regard to road name. We quit collecting more for two reasons. One was the prices rocketed up, and two, we had about all we could want with only one or two exceptions. I recently added a paint error car to the collection, which is the most Flyer I have purchased in probably 5 years or more.

I did collect into the 1960s engines with the pikemaster couples and panel sets, including F-9 diesels and 4-4-0 plastic steamers.
