Looking to purchase one. Anyone have any experience with them? Looking for alternatives to MTD parts sourcing as they are usually higher and sub par quality.

No experience with the Woods, but I had a 60" JD mower on my 420--Massive, well built, and shaft driven like your MTD. One thing I really liked is you could turn the casters sideways so the deck would roll out from under the tractor.

My Woods mowers are all heavy duty and cut really well. I have one under my "C" Allis Chalmers, one under my Cub Lo-Boy and one under my Cub.
