David, how do you always manage to include innuendos concerning your wife's measurements in these threads? We haven't all had the pleasure of making her acquaintance, but we manage to go on with our lives the best we can.

Ctrl Right click mouse Then select your -tile vertically -tile horizontally https://www.youtube....h?v=SLHdJeH-cIY

That's OK, but if you have ever used multiple monitors you would find that a pale comparison.

This is true. I know you can get away with having a split single screen and it does work. Having dual monitors though you can get away with having 4 windows open. The resolution plays a big factor too. Current monitors are 1080p and even with them slid to the back edge of the desk all of the text is easily readable.

So if a man claims he has 32"- does that equal 8"??

I bought a 23" LED last year and have no trouble finding anything (except the car keys!)

One of my old doc's had dual 55" TV monitors on 2 desks but he was looking @ a ton of information!

i have a 46 inch, I picked it up at and electronic recycle box while dropping  off  an old tv, it looked real nice and I have a friend that can sometimes bring these back to life. I called him up and he told me that that model had a problem with a bad power cord so check it out, sure enough no power, got a new cord and presto, monster monitor, its amazing what people throw out, probably because they are afraid to take it to the shop

It's so nice when you have access to someone who can give advise. Can you imagine back when, if you were responsible for repairing your land line?

I use what the office gives (or what I can barter for with co-workers).  JUST got a second monitor after months of begging.  I have a 21" and a 22"...third screen is a 17" laptop.  I cannot even remember how life was without that 3rd monitor.  I go home and work on 1 screen, and want to just give up.  It's horrible.

I can barely understand one screen and all the workings, would go nuts with more than one open!  Not sure I'm getting that idea, but would end up dreaming weird stuff after seeing that a day or two.  Dream would have me falling into one and trying to go from one to other to get out!  Woooo!   I'll stay simple. Now my Brain hurts thinking of this. :(

My 19" square Gateway gave up the ghost about a month ago so I got a 20" Rectangle AOC that I don't really like.  It may find its way into the spare locker.

I use dual 27" monitors. Makes it much easier to work on the servers and editing site files.

Same here, being able to view 2 or 3 pages/documents is a lot more helpful that most people think.

After using wide screens all the time the lowly 15" standard in the garage gets annoying.

How can you have 2 or 3 monitors hooked up to the same computer? Switch box to direct which one the right project goes too ? ? I will stay with a single 20" monitor. Not a computer junky so don't need it.
