Since I don't have room for a large frame I thought I would go the other way and get a small frame to put next to the G10 and 1256.

Has anybody tried getting parts for the G8 units. I can get the tractor for a song but it has to be put back together. He says all the parts are there but we know how that goes.

What do you guys think.

I haven't really seen too many G8's around. I think it is worth it just for the experience, especially if what parts are there are in good shape.

I cant honestly say if parts are hard to find or not. I have never done a search for small frame parts.
The G-8 would definitely be cool to have.

Why dont you Send GTT member bhts (Bob) a PM he may have some parts for them.

I would depending on price, I seen one for sale by me for 100 but it looks pretty rough but if its just for parts it might be worth it.

This is like having a baby Bolens. It is small, came with a mower deck and chains. It will be parked and tarped till summer when the nephew will have time to help put it back together.

Doesn't look too bad for $40. It should be fun putting it back together. I hope your nephew enjoys it.
