Got an email from Kris (Gtractor) today, he sent me this picture of my parade unit from 2004:  chillicothe 2004 165.jpg

 

I grew up on the 1958-720D (literally), bought the 58-520 about 30 years ago when we bought our current property & the 69-140 H1 was my first JD garden tractor.  Don't have any of them anymore though.

Great picture. I love the look and sound of those large JD 2 cylinder tractors. I've seen them pulling and it's amazing how they will lug down and never give up.
