I have a wizard garden tractor with 16 inch rear tires, a 3 pt rear hydraulic hitch, a briggs and Stratton motor, its in rough shape and the hydraulic pump is down which means the hydrostatic transmission and the hydraulic lift wont work. What is the tractor worth my friend has it for sale what should i offer him. It would have to be completely restored. I will have pictures real soon when the snow is melted. thanks

Non-running MTD 990's go for $200-$300 in my area.

I wouldn't offer a whole lot, scrap's down.  A Wizard is just someone else's tractor rebadged and sold through Western Auto stores. We'd need to know the make of the tractor to have an idea.

Daniel, if it looks like this, then it could be a good tractor. But I think it's priced a little high depending what attachments come with it.
