For the last week it has been almost nothing but rain. I think we might have had one or two dry days. They were calling for a couple inches of rain today and I think it is just now starting on the heaviest part of it. There is a good bit of flooding on the local streams.

The heavy rain that doesn't fall on you George is due to hit here tomorrow. Been a dreary week here as well, Ice storm here Monday and it didn't really melt off the trees until this afternoon. We lost power at work for almost an hour early this afternoon, probably another limb/tree down on the wires. So far March has been a winter month here in NH. Come on SPRING!!

I would be perfectly happy if all this rain was snow, we haven't had much snow at all this year. Maybe a total of 8" between 4 little storms and that is it. Didn't get to get much seat time with the garden tractors that is for sure.

I don't have any totals, but the rain has been falling here for 2 days. We had a lot of flooding a couple of weeks back and it never really got a chance to fully recede. The rivers are coming back up quickly...and now they're forecasting a serious winter storm overnight and tomorrow! I'm with you PK56! Come on spring!

This Post Reminds Me of that old Irish Joke of the Mother Who Writes Her Son In America and tells him, "It Only Rained Twice This week....Once For 3 days and Once For Two days"

Two days straight rain, coupled with the the snow. The fields along French Creek are now waterways, as are some of the roads. Of the 4 ways I can get to work, 2 were closed due to high water and one is the Interstate.

Drove the whole way to Atlanta in fairly heavy rain, & with the semi induced white outs, a very tense trip. Then sun this morning , but just as we left Atlanta....cloudy, then rain most all the way home, but at least very light rain. Yep, I'm really caught up with rainy weather!

We ended up with 8 inches of snow this morning. The temps are still at 30 degrees though, so none of the mud actually froze, it just has snow on top of it!

Wow, you got about 5" more than we did. Like you said, my lawn is goo with a white coating on top.
