I know! I spend too much time thinking! BUT! I have 2 416 Shuttles. I also have the remains of a Ford LGT165 with the hydro. Wondering if it would be feasible to install that hydro into the 416? I have the frame mounts on the Ford frame for the hydro. I could adapt them into the Allis frame. The donor also has a lift cylinder and valve still attached! HMMMMMMM? What do you all think?

since you're a good metal fabricator i'm sure you could do it. why not just put the ol ac b series gear drive without variable speed in them?

Nah! Buy another tractor with items you want on it!  Bigger or newer seems to be needed here!

Both the shuttles work real good, just a passing thought. I am going to have the fender pan off one this Spring, might look into this a bit further then. Hard part is making the drive shaft for it. The AC has 2 bolt ends on it. The Ford is 3 bolt. I do have the Ford drive shaft. I'm thinking it would need to be a little longer as the engine in the 416 is further forward than the Ford.

At least you folks aren't yelling at me for suggesting it!
