I love riding around the countryside delivering equipment.  You just never know what you will find.

I delivered a track loader today to a customer and happened to look out in the field.  I'm a notorious picker, always looking for the next treasure.

I believe I have found an Ellinwood walk behind with a cute little Lauson on it.

Sadly, someone took the blower shroud off, revealing the rare Eisemann magneto to the elements, probably ruining the coil if nothing else, and also left off the air cleaner.  The Lauson is stuck.

I'm now waiting to hear from the right man to see if it will come home to me or not.

Ellinwood for sure. I'd say the aircleaner being missing has hurt it worse than the shroud. Good luck on the acquisition.

Good luck on that one Ben.  The Ellinwood is uber-cool!  :worshippy1:

Any clue on the model?  I knew it was an Ellinwood by the belt cover, but there is no name or numbers on it.

How desirable are they?

The manufacturers date is stamped on the right frame rail kinda right below the flywheel. Pretty big numbers ! A good sanding on the rail will reveal the numbers.
