Looks Like member Gunstuff1000 is famous!  :D

I see this seller has decided to use his Ridemaster to make a keychain and used my Decal I made up.

http://www.ebay.com/...=item3f476ba9e5

I'm still on the fence whether or not I like this as they are pretty much taking someone else's work to make a profit on but it is a neat idea and they do look like they sell alot of products.

If you did not have a patent on the decal, not a lot you can do legally.  BUT, one would thing they would have the decency to at least

ask you about using it.  Unfortunately, that is kind of the direction the world is going now.  Respect and courtesy is about gone, especially in the younger generation and not much we can do about.  Just have to make sure we bring our kids up the RIGHT way and do it ourselves.  Don't depend on someone else doing it.  Mine are raised and gone, thank goodness.

Wanted some things he offered but with different tractors (ie a HT23). Rick Show sent him some pics of a 23 he did and had him make key chains and clocks ( made nice gifts for fellow Bolens buddies) . Also made some key chains and mouse pads with Rick's HT 20 with the FEL and ROPS. Sure he's entrepreneurial but that's how all business's get started , good guy offering good products as well. My two cents

yepp, that's :bs: and he's not entrepreneurial, because he's using other guys art work without naming them.

I would say: 1 warning points

He's been making this merchandise for a while now and asked permission to use Rick's 20's pic and that's been several months ago

- warning points ( what's that suppose to mean anyways?)

I'm going to say this and take my lumps, far to many times judgement is passed before all the facts are in! Have a "seller" on a web site questioned about his legitimacy of items only to have him join up and set the record straight, I'll go ahead and be wrong about parts, fitment ,pieces & mfg dates that's one thing , ragging on a guy's character without having all the info another , what do you want to be known for?

I had good luck with both guys selling this kind of stuff on ebay, both asked if it was OK to use my pics of tractors, told them go for it,I was happy to have them displayed for others to see, both sellers gave me some freebies for doing so,I can also say they do very nice work, the mouse pads I had made are very cool, will post a pic later

yep, my opinion. if he has a permission of the "artists", everything is ok. otherwise it's not ok. where's the problem?

Guys I think we need to look at this in an other manner,we also are trying to preserve the tractors, some stuff NLA,so we try to get stuff reproduced, and that is all good, but if you think about it we also are taking something that someone else developed and are using it and selling it,I'm just as guilty, wrong ?,probably, but keeps the stuff looking good and running along,to me that's what's it's all about

Civil it is. How about this FMC is still doing business are they being checked with every time a decal, part or piece that they made originally is reproduced and sold ?

I noticed the listing last night and I immediately sent the guy a message about it he said he would be happy to send me a free key chain at first I have to admit I was a little shocked but then quickly turned to being flattered that out of all the pictures on the net he choice mine. I wish he would have used one when the tractor was all complete that one was before I was able to track down the last few parts needed to make the floating cultivator complete. I guess when you post pictures out there it's anybody's ballgame then. He seems like a nice fellow so I'm not upset! Anxious to get my free keychain!
