-4 F here this morning. Yesterday was -8 F. The wind is not too bad today at only about 10 MPH.  It will be a good day at work tonight. And not to forget it is FRIDAY!!!

Well the news said it was -14F in my area this morning.  I only saw -11F.  The way I see it is, once it's below 0, what's the difference?  The wind was blowing pretty good though.  Looked like the freakin tundra out there.  Wind chills from -20 to -30.  Throw another log on the fire and go back to work I guess.

The thermometer on the side of my garage said -30* F this morning; luckily it isn't too windy here today (for once!) but even the few mile per hour breeze we have is pretty chilly at 30 below.

Well at 7:30am it was -32* F and earlier by the tattle tail button on the weather station it was -33* F . I enjoy reading how cold or warm as it may be in your area. Thanks for the responses and keep them coming.     Stay safe and stay warm.

Roger.

Only -11C this morning but the flag is standing straight out and whipping, so I won't be ice fishing today, lol. All this past week it didn't get below -36C overnight or above -20C during the day, so today feels right balmy even with the cloud cover.

I lived for 3 1/2 years in Alabama-- 6 mos in Huntsville and 3 years in Anniston... I saw it get cold--for Alabama--hovered close to freezing once, but never THAT cold!!!

Smitty

That is good to know Smitty. I live 12 miles north west of Huntsville a little community called Harvest Alabama. Huntsville has grown so much you would not recognize the area.

-7* here this morning, with light winds. Going up to 15*, warmest its been in days. Today expecting 2-4" more snow. When its this cold, the snow is very light and fluffy; which means that it blows around a lot. While out and about yesterday at times couldn't see fifty feet. Very dangerous driving.

Good news is Lake Michigan is starting to freeze over, this will cut down on the lake effect snow. But with the lake covered our temperatures will drop because of no warming effect from the lake. Good news? I think not!

I'll take the snow over these cold-cold temperatures any day. Come on spring.

We had -15 at the house and bottomed at -20 on my drive in to work. Stopped twice for diesel only to find the pumps covered. New one on me.

Right now, it is 11*F. It's supposed to get to 16*F here today. I think they said it was supposed to get down to -10*F last night, but I'm not sure if it did. I do remember looking at the digital thermometer at one point last night and it said that it was -2*F.
