10° now, was 18° or so today, 0° or lower tonight, 14° tomorrow. Normal high is near 50° by now.

Just came in from a couple hours in the shop....with an extra layer under the carhartts. Its -12 and I never saw anything over -2 today, despite it being a rare, sunny day. Has been subzero every morning for a week it seems. Doesnt bother me much as long as the wind is calm.

-20 tonite they say, but its dropping 2*/hour or faster, so I bet it goes colder than that.

Lake Michigan is making lots of ice now! Last year we had this kind of cold too, and record ice cover on the great lakes as a result, but it seems like a distant memory.

He's probably right... SW Wyoming takes a chunk out of Northern Utah... If you go east-northeast out of Salt Lake, you'll run into Evanston--popular with Utahn's because of year-round firecracker sales and parimutuel betting on horse races...

 

We've been having Spring since December...

11 degrees last night and 28 degrees for the high today and a screaming north wind. Saturday they are saying 59 degrees for the high.

On my way to Carey Idaho when I left it was 30°F the highest was 51°F but it stayed around 40 most of the day

Its -1* this morning and a steady wind. The real feel is down about -22*F That just feels cold to me. :(
