I saw that earlier today and thought how lucky was that guy not to loose his windshield. Looks like he's plowing back the shoulders to make room for the next snow and those shoulders are full of ice chunks!! Very Lucky ..

I can't believe the person didn't loose their windshield either. Plow truck must have been moving along at a decent clip to throw it that far. I am surprised though that they didn't have the plow angled to the right with a gang of them to push the snow off to the right shoulder. Not very safe throwing it onto oncoming traffic.

Now, are they going to come back down this side and throw it back over there?

I laughed so hard on that one!

I spent 10 winters plowing snow off local city streets and about half of the guys in that department were actually that "challenged"!

Yesterday [Sunday] we got 4" of snow and I was just thinking how I don't miss that job.  I would have had to work all day for straight time because today being Presidents Day [holiday] the city has it set up to where they screw all the employees out of their overtime.

Of course I do miss some of the fun I had watching things "unfold".   Seems I have some kind of ESP [common sense] and often times knew what was about to happen.   I bet if I wrote all them down it'd be a million seller.

Like the day a guy was heating a PLASTIC 5 gallon bucket of road oil up with open flame on an improvised turkey fryer.  When the plastic reached its melting point things got a lil messy, to which the guy claimed the bucket "must be rusted out".

That guy no longer works there.   He moved on to bigger and better things!   He now holds the world record for the shortest probation in Missouri's history.  Upon leaving court with a suspended sentence for dealing in meth,  he stopped off at the liquor store for a bottle of wiskey and then promptly reported to his new probation officer wreaking of alcohol and was arrested.

Total probation time was just under 15 minutes.  :wallbanging:

could be worse, I live in ny state and they put salt down like you would not believe.  It will start to snow and the plow trucks will come out in force getting the first few flakes off the road and pouring the salt down, a few hours later the next truck will come down thru and push all the salt over in the bank and put down more and they will keep this up all nite long till they are out of fuel or salt !!!!!!!!!  Glad my taxpayer dollars are going to good use, rotting out the body on my truck !!!!!

An other dumb stunt is when it's below 18 degrees, the road is dry, and dry snow is blowing off the road and some idiot salts the road, where upon the snow proceeds to stick to the surface and you now have snow pack.

Yep, definitely in Russia.

Just about every car in Russia has a dash cam.  It has to do with corrupt police, insurance scams, etc.

There is hour upon hour of Russian dash cams on YouTube.

I saw a short video clip on CNN yesterday.

About the snow in the southern states.

2 SCUT's with sweepsters going down the street.

The one in front was in the right lane sweeping to the

curb. The one behind was sweeping into his clear path.

There was maybe 1/2" of snow.

I instantly thought of this video. :hitting_self_roller:

Here are some more from Russia :D :D :D

From watching the Russian dash cam vids, it appears that stop lights, speed limits, lane markings, and other traffic regulations are merely suggestions  :rolling:
