Nope the 650 was a 1966

The model numbers never went along with the year , some were the same as the HP ratings but that was not always the case either.

I dont know where they got some of their model Numbers LOL

Didn't the '62 model 600's have the small "straight" clutch pedal?   .........The tractor in question has the later-style clutch pedal.

If the gold paint on the seat is original, that should make it a 1963 model.

The Ad has a photo of what the Owner says it's the original manual.

For sale 1965 Bolens Husky 600 garden tractor. 7hp B&S engine does not run, extra motor and parts. Still have owners manual. Do not have mower deck any more. I do have some of the linkages and the old starter/generator. This would be a great restoration project or a pulling tractor. local pick up only.

The book says it's for the 180 & 181 Models of the 600.

All 600 tractors were either 180 (manual start) or 181 (electric start) models.

1962 had 180-01,-02 and 181-01, -02 designations.

1963 had 180-03 and 181-03 designations.

1964 had 180-04 and 181-04 designations.

1962 and 1963 tractors were painted gold (600's had a gold hood - 800's had a white hood).

1964 and 1964 tractors were painted cordovan (brownish) with white hoods.

The Owner's Manual shown was from 1962 or 1963.  ....It's possible the manual was the same for those two years.  .....There was a different Owner's Manual for 1964 because it covered the 600, 800, and 900 tractors.

They switched them late in production and did the decals as well. My 600 is a 1962 model by engine and model number but has the showcased 63' Decals and clutch.

I seen this on quite a few 600's
