The Kohler K241 on my 102 is not getting spark put it getting power because I shocked myself. I cleaned the points and put another new spark plug in and still nothing. Any idea what it could be ?

Check the plug wire for a short. Whenever you have a problem, check the troubleshooting section of the engine manual. You can download the manuals from our Manuals Section(3 for free per day). Good Luck, Rick

You get jolt from wire, but no spark?  You ARE grounding the plug to clean spot right?  Sometimes laying on head with paint on it doesn't work well. Might try condensor, should be mounted on or near your coil.

I know you said you cleaned the points. Did you pull the points off and check behind them. They are notorious for getting a film of oil on them. Points push rods get a little worn and they will start dribbling oil there. Something to check. As others have stated try a different plug wire.
