Well, in NE Indiana right now is like a Blizzard out there. Was snowing a little most of night and early AM, but think most now is just light blowing snow!  Anything left in yard is tumbling and the dog really hates to be out in the wind to do her duty. Blowing into cracks around doors too, seems like Winter for sure! BUT, won't be much if any left on sidewalks to plow, boooo!

Kenny, they are saying we might see some of the white down here also. If it snows at all and is cold enough to stick to the bridges, San Antonio will be closed down. They have no idea what to do here if that happens.

The wind is out of the NW here, but is still warm for now. We'll have a cold front come through later and late Sunday night sleet and/or freezing rain will move in. I'm trying to stay outside all I can as I will be inside until Wed. or Thur.

Yep, they are saying we make get some snow and mixed Sunday night and going all the way into Tuesday.  Tomorrow it's not supposed to get out of the 30's which is hard to believe since I'm running around in short sleeves today.  59* right now but if feels warmer.  I made sure the generator starts and we have wood stacked on the back porch just in case.

Our winds started this morning, temps were right around 32*, but I'm betting we had 40 mph winds, I can say it feels like 0* out there. We did get some snow, it was blowing straight sideways, no accumulation. I had to get up on the barn roof, winds were so strong, it pulled my rolled roofing back. I had to nail it back then grab the bucket of roofing tar to fix the holes and tears before the precip hits. I had no gloves cause of the tar, my hands were frozen!!!! It's finally calmed down some, but now temps are dropping, supposed to be in teens overnight, high of 18* for Sunday.

Must be at least a couple of storms brewing across the continent. We've got one coming at us right now. It's -10C right now and then snow and winds tonight with 50mph gusts and a foot of snow, then changing to rain by noon, an inch of rain and then the temp plummets to -14C 7F by tomorrow night with those same 50mph winds. The worst is that we are iced up bad here on the dirt roads and gravel driveways and parking lots. This will only make that worse. It's been weeks since we had any sort of a thaw. I was in the local Hardware store today and people kept coming in to buy ice melter but they were sold out. They offered people urea, which will work, but most folks didn't seem to like that idea.
