I heard this morning Boston has gotten 70" of snow in the last 17 days. WOW.

I won't complain about our 7" total for the winter so far.

For eastern CT its "another storm, another Monday" (with apologies to the Doobie Brothers). Fortunately, each storm seems smaller. Two weeks ago it was about 30", last week about 15", and today is supposed to be about 7". It is still lot of snow to get out of the way.

Our coastline has been getting freezing rain mixed in with the snow and sleet. That is when you appreciate snow. I think it was 16 years ago that eastern Canada had a horrific ice storm that knocked out power for many months.

What we are having is a pain but, it could be much worse. I'm going to watch a GREAT movie on AMC now, Sahara starring Bogart. Good Luck, Rick

Just blame it on global warming.

We are redirecting the storms your way. My wife is getting irritated lately because every snow that is predicted for us goes to the north. I just don't mind getting missed by the storm.

Just blame it on global warming.

The warming climate has changed the patterns. The Northeast is colder and wetter while other areas are hotter and drier. The climate changes are erratic and may cause long term disasters such as the drought that has devastated agriculture in the south and west. Good Luck, Rick

At this rate "plow Day " in May might need clearification.there is just no where left to put the snow anymore. Another possible snow storm Thursday .
