As I type this, I just uninstalled HP quick web on my  HP 210 net book.  It would not find a WiFi signal for a little over a year.  I tried to update it with the latest download, but nothing seemed to work.  The internet feedback seemed a bit negative for the feature, but I liked it for simple surfing.  On the net in about 30 seconds or less from power up.

Anyone else have problems/issues with quick web?  I'm curious.

When I first got the net book it worked everywhere and was fast for just browsing.  The last year or so it would not let Wi Fi join any network.

Yeah, QuickWeb was never really well thought out, from what I heard, it was a terrible spin-off of Linux and doesn't really fare well in multimedia rich web pages.  Also try QuickLook, like QuickWeb it was a pre-boot environment meant for PIM stuff, but, unless you shell out the $$$ for Outlook, it doesn't work!
