Having fun with my new to me loader!

One problem I'm having is that it usually goes real slow in reverse.
But, sometimes it moves as fast as it should.
I looked but did not find a procedure for adjusting this?

Clearing back the snow banks as were forecast to get another 11" to 14" by Tuesday!

Hey Joe!

Nice find! was that one listed on CL?

it could be moving slow due to the extreme cold temps we have had. What kind of fluid do you have in the hydro?

I found it on C/L over the summer.
Moves forward fine.
Just reverse is sometimes fast but mostly slow.
I haven't changed the hydro oil. So, I don't know what's in there.

It could be related to the linkage then. The speed is dictated by the angle of the swashplate in the hydro. If it's not tilted enough back it won't go as fast. I don't know the linkage set up with a bolens but it may be worth a look see. Get ready for this storm!

Nice machine! It looks very similar to mine.

In fact, that is the exact pose mine was in when the engine died. :( Mine's still sitting in the driveway waiting for warmer weather so that I can start working on it.
