I was able to get a second Bolens Ridemaster yesterday. It has a Briggs engine. I am pretty sure it will run but have not tried to start it yet. The number is 38AB301, I did not find a manual for it in the manual section. It has a t-handle under the tube behind the pivot point of the tractor and looks to go into the back part of the drive section. What does it do? My other tractor does not have this lever. My other tractor is a 35AB02 with a Wisconsin engine. Thanks and I will post a picture later today.

Very nice units!

Here is something funny I already have 38AB301, R40227 numbers saved to my list.. You just picked this tractor up?

Would you be willing to give out the engine modal and serial numbers?

Nice Ridemasters!

I would really love to see one of the 2 speeds restored, they would be the beautiful metallic color green.

Both of these tractors at one time belonged to one of my best friends and his wife, after he and his wife divorced I became the owner of the one with the Wisconsin. Last year he passed away from cancer(Cancer Sucks), his son & daughter wanted me to have the other one.
