I was given a old 1250 Bolens. I can't believe you can't hardly find out anything on them. I would love to rebuild it. It's awesome. Talk about heavy-duty. I would love to put a snowblower on it too. Got any idea's?

Welcome to GTTalk! If you look under the manuals section here, you can find out a great deal about the 1250 Large Frame Bolens tractors and the attachments for them. As a newbie to the site, you are limited on downloads for a short while.

Welcome to GTT. Congratulations on the 1250 it is a great tractor. I have two and think that they are great. It is a "large frame" Bolens and as you said "its awsome". Read up on it. Take some pics and post them. Ask questions when you have them. Bolens sold alot of attachments for them. You will be amazed what is out there. Good Look, Rick

I restored a 1250 a few years ago. If yours still has the Wisconsin engine that is what is pricy to do. The rest of the tractor is pretty much just nuts and bolts with common sense applied. I do not do the Wis engines myself but instead send them out to an engine shop where they are done professionally. I sold the tractor a while ago because I did not have much use for it and had no place undercover to keep it.

Thanks for all the info for now. I love this web site.
I will get pics as soon as I find out how to do them.
I'm a old man and not used to a  computer yet.
I'm doing good just to get  this much done.
I'm sorry if I don't know how to do somethings on these things.

As of now. I don't know which model I have?
I know it's a bolens 12 hp. but I can't find the model number . It says that it'a 1250 but what is the 7116 on the
plate by the steering wheel? It has 15" tires on it.

You can download 3 manuals for free per day. Try downloading this manual :  http://gardentractor...-owners-manual/

.

Just click on the high lighted address and then click on download and then click on open. You can then save it to a file on your desk top. Good Luck, Rick

Hi welcome to the forum. The 1250 is a good machine. Between everyone here and the documentation we have here I am sure that you will be able to get it up and running with a snow blower. Look forward to seeing some pictures of it.
