Not sure about TV's in modern times, but I bet there is such items and lots of I-phones of course to keep busy.

Not as many as you would think. It gets frustrating, you watch the tv and miss something on the Vexilar, so you pay attention to the fish camera and end up having to rewind the movie. Best off just sticking to alcohol and GTTalk.

Maybe you and I need to go fishing!

Fish Camera?   Even they can't keep private?  Alcahol  and "bragging" fishermen?  Bet that can get loud after awhile, ha! Seems one should do the fishing there, the "watching" of video at home.  I just bought some "Makers Mark" bourbon and think that would make a good cold weather drink out in that weather.  Is there actually laws about drinking and being on lakes or fishing? Not that most would care, just wondering.

Only if you're in something that has a motor. 4 wheeler, truck, boat, snowmobile, etc. Not so much when you're in the Ice Castle.

If the boat won't float I don't fish but wish ice fishermen the best of luck.

Best off just sticking to alcohol and GTTalk.

There's some sage advice.

Some comments on boats and ice fishing seemed funny, and at work today saw this in a paper.  Had to laugh!

Another cold night. No fish. About froze. If we go again I am buying insulated bibs!

My two friends are out there on the ice(center other group to the right) I went back to the truck for some hot hands packets!

My feet were the only warm part of me. Thick socks and thinsulate boots.

I ice fish atleast twice a week, sometimes more.  I love being out there.  I drive my F250 diesel all over the lake, never had a problem.  It's a blast catching a huge walleye or giant snot rocket (northern pike) through the ice.  It's a blast to watch on the vexilar, or better yet the fish camera and see how the fish react to bait or even to each other.  I don't drive out until the ice is atleast 16 inches thick, right now its bout 2.5 foot thick.  When I worked, I have drove semis over these lakes.  We do have the occasional vehicle go through the ice but it's usually a towner or foreigner (out of stater) that does not know how to read the ice.  FISH-ON!!
