We not like dem!  We friendly folk.  Glad you are here.  I too was on other sites and ended up here a couple of years ago now I guess.  Now, your punishment for trying to go elsewhere (it's equivalent to a teenager running away)...  Hmm, let's see, oh, right, you must post three pictures of interesting garden tractors (yours or otherwise) everyday for one week.  Then you think about what you've done young man.  Why next time I am in Alabama to visit the main office, I may just have to come to your place for a glass of sweet tea.  Believe me, once you spend some time with me, you'll feel like you've been punished!  The grass isn't always greener, eh?

I visit a number of sites, and the only one that is 1/2 way close to being as friendly as here is the MoM Forum in the UK.

I visit other sites from time to time, but I like the "atmosphere" here the best... no name calling, no vulgarity, and a lot of good people always willing to help...

I lived in Huntsville and Anniston, AL during my sojourn with the Army... loved the area and the people... but struggled with the humidity...

I came here after some shenanigans happened on what I thought (at the time) was the "only" forum of this kind on the web.

There was a "mass-banning" out of the blue of some long standing good members,  and it really lit up after one member in particular was banned, and the forum at large stuck up for this one particular member, and among the fire fight, more than one member there (who had already previously discovered this one)  said "screw it they will stay here, don't need that other site"

That was a couple years ago, after that I would only browse "over there" as a reference to threads that I remember  having been posted before the "problem"  without even signing in/  I will not mention names but there is one particular moderator that  mysteriously went "silent" during all the issues.... I suspect he had something to do with what happened over there.

I do not see anything close to the issues here, that presented themselves on that site. So this became my #1 go to site for GT stuff, too.

Peek in at ATLTF. kids hacking up mostly LTs for off road buggies. Occasionally they grab a springfield, panzer, sears or cub GTs. They dont mess with Deeres much, I think the price scares them off. Some of the hard core guys on here would poo chickens if you saw what they did with and to them

My Tractor Forum has some good guys, but I don't get there much, TractorByNet is better in the off topic forums than tractors. I like it here!

I have really been impressed with everyone on this site. Top notch and far as I'm concerned. Seems like everyone with a good attitude is accepted. Now if someone will just find me a Briggs 5 3/4 horsepower motor for the T60 I would really be impressed. Those things are hard to find. It has a motor (Briggs 6 h.p.) but I really would like the correct one for it.
