But I heard Rick Dale tell Corey Harrison that those gearboxes were rare.

Probably only 3 in existence and worth roughly $7000 IF you can find one.....

:(

All kidding aside I think your offer was more than fair.

Yeah 150 is about what they bring if it is of a Pennsylvania Panzer. If it is off a Copar then it may be worth a little more than 150 but not the 275 its listed for.

i would have liked to add the mower he has for my t60. 700 bucks for the drive and deck seemed a little to much for me for a limited use tractor

I may try the $180 and see what happens. I really don't have to have it but I have a tractor I may put it on. I have 2 on two different 1958 T60's. I saw a picture of one using it to turn a big ice cream freezer. Just thought it would be neat so if I ever get to a show them make some for the kids to give away.

Your right , I hardly ever see them for sale . It is a lot to pay but what is the alternative . On a different note I always had a dream of making a small cord wood saw on the front of my T70 ,but I do like Ice Cream too. Good luck

I guess I could buy it and get a snow blower to use it with. I did see a couple of flakes this year and then carry it to a tractor show with a snow blower on it an Alabama. Bet that would leave a impression.

Seems like I remember a posting about how offers are automatically rejected based on some percentage value based on asking price. Don't know if that is for all e-bay or just some accounts. I'm really stretching memory here but I think the fellow in Michigan...check Joe's Outdoor Power, one of our sponsors, I think he posted about this a couple years back.

I didn't know that. You can learn something everyday. I may try and do a question to him and see if that would work.

This partiular gear box is era correct for a T60-T65. It is not the same as the more common T70-T75 gear boxes. Its a solid $200 unit all day long. These are hard to come by. Standard T70-T75 boxes are much more common and less expensive.
