While working on my 900 that I am restoring I was looking at the manual that I got from this site. I was trying to see which end went where and that is when I noticed it. The link in the manual shows an adjustable ball joint on each end where as my link does not have the adjustable ends. Has this been changed? What is the norm for the 900's drag link. The engine ser # is 3834064 maybe someone can date this.

Yes the early Tubeframes used a drag link with replaceable ball joints on each end, in 1966 this was changed to a 1 piece unit which I wish they never did!

Using the post that Brian did awhile ago, your serial number shows a production date of January 1964. Here is the link: http://www.wisconsin..._serial_search/
