I actually am trying to track this part down for my Buddy, he owns a Large Frame Bolens 1886 and needs a K582 Coil for his 18 HP Kohler. If any of you can put me on to a good used one or a source for a resonably priced nes one I'd appreciate it. He's watching one on EBAY that is up to $63, I told Him I thought that was Crazy for a used untested, unguarenteed part...just my opinion... Thanks for any help you can give me. DanO'

Dual SuperCoil for Kohler and Onan Opposed Twins
Why pay over $120.00 for a factory replacement coil when this high quality part is available for less than half the price? The Dual SuperCoil is made especially to our specifications and is wound with a high resistance primary of 3.2 ohms (same as the Bosch Blue). This gives a higher secondary voltage than the stock coil for improved performance, yet is not detrimental to breaker point life. No external ballast resistor is required. Epoxy-potted windings yield maximum resistance to vibration. Made in U.S.A. by a major coil manufacturer.
Dual SuperCoil price each - $60.00 plus $10.50 USPS Priority Shipping.
Shock therapy for your engine!

Any coil from the k482 k532 and k582 will work. As mike posted that is a good deal on a replacement coil as i sell the used one for $60 but are guarenteed. I have not used one of those and know no one that has but would be worth a shoot and would be a great replacement to the OEM at a great cost. If you do get one of those let us know how it works out.
