How do you measure how high the depth wheel is set from the bottom?
Is there a best depth?

do you think you could measure how high the depth wheel is set from the bottom?

Rule of thumb is 1/2 the size of plow.

12" should dig 6"
10" should dig 5"
Etc.

On a 10" plow, you shouldn't be cutting more than 10" or you'll leave unplowed areas.
Usually, a 10" plow set at 9" from the inside of the wheel will work out pretty well.
