Wunderground weather is calling for 8-12 Saturday. I will gladly suggest to Mother Nature that those who haven't had any to play in, should get this storm.

Bah! Humbug!

Got maybe 6" or so on the ground here. Had a couple inches last night with freezing rain during the night and now it's raining. It will turn back to snow this evening! I'd rather have it stay all snow. Ice is becoming a big issue here.

lets it snow, aint no big deal here in the mid west. We have had roughly 12" since the beginning of winter, so basically we haven't had any snow. It will just slow things down for a couple of days, then it will all be back to normal.

Heck, today is Sunny and warmer, to be 38 and stuff is melting all over. Hardly any of the last couple snows, cept what is left of the banks I've made plowing, and even some  of those are gone. Sure seems odd to get a big one after this. Kind of a Teaser, I guess!

just started to mist and sprinkle here an hour ago, temp is about 34*. Looks like the first part of anything will be wet at the base. Not the best for blowing and will make pushing it hard also.

Well, BOOO! Didn't snow much last night, then Rain this AM, so is wet and heavy 2" at most. Wife went out and shoveled some areas when I was still in bed!!  I went out with Deere and pushed deeper back to banks and piles out of way.  Started snowing while out there and is covering fast again now. Went from 6 to 12", back to 4 to 6", then again 10 to 15" for my area. One map looks like it is mostly over, others show much more coming, so confused on that. I'll check in later!

Just finished doing round 1 & cleaned up the package that the city left for me. The fun of living on the end of a dead end street. So I plow the end of my street with hopes that by the time the city trucks come again that will run out of snow to push when they get to my driveway. I just measured the snow on the back of the truck with the bed covered it showed 9 inches & still snowing. I did this round with the blade but am debating weather to put Snowblower on. The choice to make when you have a gravel driveway. I hope all that are getting this storm are safe & able to maintain electric service as this is a wet snow that is sticking to everything. A little wind would be nice to knock the snow out of the trees & wires but one report says it may turn into blizzard type winds & we do not need that.

Well, 8:00 o'clock I was out pushing the wet and heavy stuff, not much in inches really around. Did have to push less in a run, but not a lot of snow really. I'm still going to work later. Looks like only about 2" snow on the roads right now, kinda wimpy around here. The wind IS blowing snow off the roof now, not sure what that will do overnight.
