I finally got some of the KT-540 Tail Lights for the older Bush Hog tractors. I was happy to find them the other day and even happier to get them bought. I need the bases, but I got the hard part finally.

Scott "Sacsr" finds dealer stock, but I have never found any kind of a dealer hoard to get my hands on. Would love to find a building full of parts someday. Down here everything gets scrapped. :wallbanging:

NOS parts do come up from time to time, but usually more steel than wear items. I am hoping for that large stash as well!

That's the way it is in the engine parts world, too, Scott.

Those look like 39 Ford taillights that the rodders use.  I think there are company's making copies of those. Ever compare?  Try looking on epay for the Ford lights and see how they look maybe?

glgrumpy is right.....My wife's trike had the same tail-light. I was replacing a bad bulb and ended up dropping the red glass lense on the concrete!

I purchased new lights from a "hot rod" web site.

Yes Sir, if you can find the web site, I still need bases for these lights.

Nice find Brian.

Will keep watching ebay. They come on fairly often, since they were used on the early campers. Good find on the reproduction ones Brian. First time I have seen that.  Will was your BH an early one? The later ones used a PM taillight.
