I was out moving snow last night with Rusty' - was almost done and when I threw him in reverse the belt let go . Ha Ha it was the original belt that it came with and was in terrible shape . Guess I have no choice now but to replace it.

Before it broke though I had the forward belts dialed in pretty good . He was pushing enough of a pile of snow to load up the motor pretty good .

What a Champ :D

I agree, I'd even spring for a new US made belt from Bolens 1000!

I Picked up the new belt Weds . going to put it on tomorrow just in case we get a late winter storm. We had a mild winter here compared to the last 3-4 years so I only got to actually use Rusty about 5 times . Well worth it !! :D

Yup , I had enough snow to give him a run today . Got it dialed in pretty good !! He was pushing a full load with no hesitation and backs right up .

The prediction I saw this morning is for a colder winter this year  with near 85" inches of snow .

That is just the prediction ... But I am getting Rusty ready .

Still running smoothe and starting easy :D

Looking sharp! I will mention, you can fix your muffler and make it look a tad more original by welding on a short extension, and squishing the outer end in a vise. I just used a piece of conduit on two of mine. I made it as long as it could be but still clear the hood when it pivots.

I will look into doing that /\ IWLBCNU - It would stop the carbon buildup on the grill .

Rusty won another vote for Tractor of the month for Dec. 2016  'Snow Removal Machine '

Thank you !!

He has come a long way !!
