The Jake has little clips holding in the headlight panel and grille. The original ones are rather wimpy for my liking, so I made some new ones.

Here's 2 of the 'stock' ones with 4 of the ones I made.

I wasn't real thrilled with metal rubbing metal, so I bought a can of this.

Here's all six of the clips drying after a heavy coat of the Liquid Tape.

I will let it dry over night and we'll see if that will give some cushion when installed.

That liquid electrical tape works great.I use it to patch holes on my sand blasting cabinet gloves and they never get holes again where they were patched.

Neat! Ya, company's use the Minimum peices to do a job, not caring what might happen to the item in future. it has to meet the immediate job of holding the lights, but doesn't take into what will hold up to service or repairs. Always wondered if that LIquid Tape will stay on items or just kinda crack later where thick and wanna peal off when handled. Let us know!

That's what this thread is about, GL. I'm trying it out to see if it may work for other things!

These may be for the headlights. I didn't think about that! I cross that bridge when I get there!
