its a bushing. Because old idler have a 1/2 shaft and new one 3/8. 1/2 bushing localized bolt in pedal assembly

the famous gear

my friend mill a new gear for the 2nd gear cluster, and turn a hole in center of the old gear.

presse new gear in the older

i drilling hole and treaded in parting line stop rotation between twice, i use 3x 1/4-20unc 3/4lg set srews

after that i re-assemble transaxle

when mon friend mill the gear, me i fabricated bracket for sleeve hitch

Glad the reassembly has started. The gear and sleeve hitch look great!
On the setscrews, did you put any lock tight or thread locker on them?

The nuts and bolts that mount the sleeve hitch brackets to the frame will vibrate loose, I used nylon locking nuts on them.

Yes i use lock tight. And setscrews is in de cicle of trustwasher. Iam safe. Lol

Awesome job on this restore. It took me awhile but I'm caught up now.  :D  It's been very inspiring watching your project. I'm waiting for warmer weather right now. I have an MF 12 that's been waiting since late fall of last year for a finish coat. Your GF would be very proud to see this tractor. :thumbs:
