A few months back when I introduced myself on the forum I mentioned that I have a rear mounted reel mower which caused some interest. I bought a Howard's Bolens brochure a few days ago. On the front cover is the machine itself. The brochure was published in 1973.

Howard was an importer of Bolens and that why UK Bolens would have Howard Bolens decals on the tractor/ implements. The reel mower was commissioned by Howard for Bolens tractors for the UK.

Not suprised as he's in loads of photos within the brochure and probably mowed the whole lawn just to get one photo!

That's a really neat mower. Will you be using it on your Bolens?

That's the plan. I have the mower but not the grass collector. I will try to take some photos of it in action.

Thanks for posting it. I have never seen a rear reel mower. Best of luck with it.

I know "rare" isn't thrown around on here often.... but I bet that would be VERY rare in the States, if there was one ever available.

I'd love to have some type of front or rear mount mower for my HT, whether it's a reel, flail, or finish mower. Something like that would be pretty cool on a Large Frame tractor.
