I was going thru some of my Bolens stuff tonight and got to thinking I should start a thread on litetature and see what other collectors have Manuals and sales stuff had always been s big part of my Bolens collecting and anytime I see a piece I don't have I try to buy it. The serious collectors all know the common pieces that we see all the time for sale let's see the pictures of the pieces that you don't see everyday I will start off posting a picture of what I think is my earliest piece it's a small pamphlet on the Bolens model a power-ho tractor. There isn't a date on it but I can only assume this is one of the first early pieces printed

More:

You do see these surface from time to time but they are not found every day, never seen any of the sulky's or extra gang reels or the chemical tank.

These were photographs that were on ebay a while back, never won the auction but saved the pics

These almost look like the proto type photos Bolens always took with white backgrounds

Yeah never seen one of those!

Its interesting how Bolens always found something interesting to add to ordinary things, the reel portion is actually one of their push mowers with the handles removed!

This mow-cycle was not made by Bolens as far as I know.  .....It was offered by Bolens under a Bolens  model number, but this rider attachment was available, and sold by several companies.

I rode one of these units for several years while cutting my grandparents lawn.  ....It was attached to a Garden State reel mower.
