This is quite the tractor... includes the manuals, snow plow, tilling plow, cultivator, extra hitch....

Actually in Montana about 30 miles east of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

That one's been on there quite a while now. It looks like a nice straight tractor and the price isn't real far off if you like implements.

I'd be tempted to buy it just for the curiosity factor, but I don't have room or time for it.

Those are really quite a tractor. When I was a kid a neighbor had one to clear his drive and plow his garden with. I was always fascinated with the flat belt drive on it. Never drove it but saw him use it several times. Had it painted the same color. Seems like a good price with all that comes with it.  Thanks for sharing.

Well, I contacted the seller, and he graciously sent me more pictures and allowed me to post them here in the Gallery Section.  I'll also send them into Tractor Data.  They have a Sears Handiman RT listing, but only one picture.

The engine shown is a B&S 23AB... I believe it's 9 hp, but not sure.  It's stroke is longer than it's bore so I'll bet it is a torquey little beast. I found a parts manual for it online, and posted it in the Manuals Section

The rear tires were bought new in Spokane, Washington in the 1970's and still have the chalk marks on them.  The tractor was put in storage shortly thereafter until the owner's passing this last year...

A neat old machine.  This is one I'd love to have to restore and drive in parades, etc.... if I had the time and money.

That should have had a Briggs ZZ. Having a non original engine really hurts it.

Looks like it was repowered at some point, then. It was a little misleading since the manual for the 23AB Briggs is shown with the other literature...
