That's been for sale for quite a while. Periodically, they list it and then the ad goes away, then they list it again.
I think they dropped the price this time?

Not sure where he gets the "Restored" part.

All I'm going to say is the day that sells for $850 will be the day I quit this hobby and haul everything to the scrap yard!

I remember seeing that listed for a LONG time at something like $400.00.

I'm thinking that this guy bought it and thinks he can flip it for 2x his money.

ETA:

After looking at Doc's link, he only paid $200.00 for it and wants to quadruple his money.

The current owner if still a member is a younger guy, he's only 20 yrs old max. nice guy, but talking to him, he likes to buy low and flip stuff. He bought my WH from me for $175, had it for a few months, then tried to sell for $400, not sure if he did.

Yep ,it's been on CL for a couple years now, comes up every so often, price has went from $1000 down to the $200 the member bought it for, now back up to $850.

What's interesting is that it was originally in the Ross/Shandon/Okeana area, NW of Cincinnati.

I ran a small steel supply company in Shandon for a number of years could very well have supplied the steel used to make it  :D :D :D

Wow, bummer my buddies & me were going to kick together & buy it for our golf league being a Bolens guy I thought it would be pretty cool out on the course..... Now what, how the heck could I enjoy the front nine knowing I was in part responsible for the Doc's sweet azz collection going for scrap. Course we could all scout the scrap yards in the Buffalo area , and get some niiiiiice pieces for scrap prices!!! Awesome. 😆😆😆😆, Ya I know " don't be a dikk" sorry I couldn't resist. 🙈🙊🙉

Yeah, I'm not feeling it and $850 is a joke. A mint original tube frame Bolens struggles to get that kind of money, let alone one thats been attacked by the angle iron zombies.
