Ordered my tires over the weekend and they are scheduled for delivery tomorrow.  That's the 3rd business day....not bad at all!

I may have to intercept the shipment as they come through Cincy   :thank_you:  :poke:  :D

Too late....already left Campbellsville on route to my house!  Won't be installed for some time though.   Too bloody cold to be changing tires if I don't have to.

I only bought them because I have perdiem coming from a dairy meeting I was paid to attend last fall.  Last of that, as I am out of the dairy politics arena now.  But that money, which should arrive any day covers the costs of the tires.  Gonna be way too tight a year for much not absolutely needed unless I can make some extra cash on the side.

What are they going on, I thought the last set covered all your Ag needs for plow and work tractors?

John Deere 430.  It only does mowing now, but if I ever get 3 point, i'd need the ags.  Being one turf is shot, leaking air & ballast, I figured now is the time.  And even for mowing, there are times I could sure use the traction.

Goodness, don't remind him! He's threatened to paint it red twice, don't get him thinking. I'm surprised he hasn't done it already with all that spare time on his hands.

Oh yeah, I do need to get to that red paint job for the 430!  I have the needed paint on the shelf.  I've been using all that spare time I have painting water colors of puppy dogs & pond lillies & tip toeing through the tulip patch.  Keeps me from getting bored ya know.  :smilewink:

And Brian, no need to worry bout a rockshaft.  IF the time ever comes, I can easily weld right onto my present rockshaft.  I already have a pair of wobble sockets I can use to built the lift link arms out of.  Time is the limiter.

Oh yeah, I do need to get to that red paint job for the 430!

call it a "patio" 430

on Summit/ I would never have thought of them for anything related to L&G...

I gotta call them anyways,  and get the cam lifters and timing chain for my son's 360 that we are building up for his Ramcharger.... might have to pad my kid's bill....
