Can anyone tell me the appropriate size of tire chains for use on the 6.00-16 large lug tires and where they can be purchased.  Thanks Tim

A good source of used tire chains real inexpensive is at household auctions.  At lot of them are for 16" tires and can be picked up for a few bucks.  They can all be shortened, and if you get an extra single or pair you can make them longer too.

Welcome aboard.  Enjoy the show.

Welcome to GTT. I use old automotive tire chains. They are usually only a couple dollars at tag sales. If they are in their original package it will tell the size. I often just cut down automotive chains to GT sizes. There are tools that make cutting and repairing easy. You probably want truck tire chains. Good Luck, Rick
