Happy Birthday!  I'm getting the feeling that I may be the young pup in this crowd at 51.  Hey, it's just a number.  Just keep focused on the right things and all will be well.  Enjoy the day... and every one you get after today.

I will be 49 in August this year so I am the young pup for the moment!

I did some figuring. When I was two years old, I was 50% older than when I was one.

Actually, you were 100% older than when you were 1....but who's counting?  Oh yeah, you're counting!  :smilewink:

And Happy Birthday!

One is 50% of two and one is 1.4% of sixty eight. That's the best I can explain it. I can't even explain what I had for supper yesterday.

My oldest daughter was feeling badly when she hit the big 30.  I pointed out to her that when she was 1 I was 29 so 29 times as old as she and at 30 I was 59 so I was only about twice as old as she so she was catching up.  For some strange reason that didn't make her feel any better though.  Now at 35 she got used to being old.

Yes, one is 50% of 2, but you weren't speaking in terms of younger.  You were speaking of percentage of older than one, which is 100%.   :smilewink:

Olcowhand is right. 2 is 100% more than 1. But it's not worth belaboring the point. Happy Birthday! And here's to many more.

Just 60 here!  Working not as fun as it used to be, harder to "Mechanic" things and depression starts taking it's toll!  AND.... You have to start "Getting out of the Hobbie"!   Figure another 10 years for that, the way I'm going! Ha!

I'll be 70 right shortly and am having fun working on my "bucket list" Since I figure the worst that could happen to me has already happened, I've relaxed my outlook and am taking life just as it comes. If I want to do it, I do. If I don't want to do it, I don't. And I don't waste time worrying about what might happen. Whatever comes along, I'll deal with it !!!
